There are many ways to interact with the water and we aim to provide engaging opportunities to do so. For many of the recreational activities that we host, we partner with different organizations to provide paddling and boating events including Color in the Outdoors, WI Salt Wise, and the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin. We believe that everyone should be able to connect with the outdoors and waterways.
The water is a part of our everyday lives. Through recreation, our relationship with it can become more visible and important to individuals. These opportunities encourage people to engage with their waterways in new ways and with new people. The water unites us and through community activities we can learn how important it is to everyone in the Rock River Basin and the need to protect it.
