The “Testing the Waters” event launched this morning from Mayville, Wisconsin. You can follow the crew’s progress moment-by-moment on the Live Dashboard at TestingWaters.org, a special website set up just for this event.
Our crew of test paddlers will spend the next ten days on the river, traveling from Mayville to Beloit and conducting real-time water quality monitoring the entire way. They’re accompanied by community members who want to learn more about the Rock River, and they will deliver educational events in communities along the route.
