Rhiannon hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She grew up next to the Grand River, and loved to explore local forests and streams. After graduating with a Biology degree from Oakland University near Detroit she moved to northern Michigan to work at a land conservancy where her love for the Great Lakes and their expansive watersheds really took root. She moved to Madison in 2023 to get her master’s in Environmental Conservation and has been enjoying getting to know her new home. In her free time she likes to read, walk, spend time with friends, start crafty projects, rarely finish them, and cuddle her unwilling cat.
She is so excited to work with the Rock River Coalition as the Urban Forestry and Water Resources Outreach Specialist!
