Sweep the Creek & Learn to ID Invasive Aquatic Species
The annual JCWA creek clean-up will be on Saturday, September 10th this year. Do you recall that one component of our mission is to educate the public about our waterway? Beginning at 9:30a.m., Patricia Cicero will present “Learn to Identify Invasive, Aquatic Species” at our Historical Society. Volunteers will scour our creek for trash & debris from the Historical Society to the west at any time between 9:30 and 12:30. The Village of Johnson Creek has again, generously provided us with a dumpster. Volunteers should dress appropriately, meaning wear your old clothes & shoes. Be sure to stop at the registration table to sign in and get a trash bag. We will build our own sub sandwiches starting at 12:30.
