Rock River Coalition President’s Message

On behalf of the Rock River Coalition Board of Directors, I am happy to welcome you to our new website!

With the leadership of Marsha Vomastic, our volunteer webmaster, and Eric Compas, Board member, we decided to update our website with a new look and new format.  The goals for our website are to better communicate with our members, to freshen up the organization’s look, and to allow more people to contribute and view content.  Overall, the site will provide more up-to-date information about our projects and basin news.

We were fortunate to be one of the non-profits chosen to participate in “Design Like Mad.”  In the course of one day in December 2013, a team of student and professional programmers and designers worked on creating our new website and developing our 20th anniversary logo.  We are delighted with the results!

The Rock River Coalition Board thanks our Design Like Mad team:  Claire Tomm, Jack Saxe-Staral, Mike Kyllo, Nicholas Staffanson, and Jason Hardies.  Their hard work is greatly appreciated!

We will be using the logo designed by our Design Lake Mad team throughout this year when promoting events associated with our 20th Anniversary.  Many activities are being planned that accent the mission of the Rock River Coalition and celebrate all aspects of the human experience including:  Mind (knowledge), Body (active experiences), and Heart (human spirit).  The year will culminate in a 20th Anniversary party on November 2, 2014 at the Koshkonong Mounds Country Club on the eastern shore of Lake Koshkonong.
