Maunasha River Volunteers Wanted

Nancy with Monitors

The Maunesha River Alliance (a Chapter of the RRC) and Capitol Water Trails are teaming up to remove obstructions from Marshall to Waterloo on the Maunesha River to allow paddle craft navigation.  There are several opportunities to volunteer:  September 14, 28, October 5, 19, and November 2.  Work will include cutting fallen trees and removing trash.  Most work will be done via paddle craft with very limited extra seats – so bring your own canoe or kayak.  All necessary tools will be provided.  Each work day, the crew will meet at 9 am at Langer Park on Canal Road in Marshall, WI.
