Maunesha River Alliance Cleanup Event

Event Details

The Maunesha River Chapter of Rock River Coalition is hosting a river clean up on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 8am till 2pm.
“Thanks to JR Klement from Jeferson County Parks for helping us with this event! The meeting point and worksite are at Waterloo Firemen’s Park. We will float downriver and address issues until we takeout at the Waterloo Wildlife Area. Look for us or listen for chainsaws if you get there late.
Email us at or message us on our Facebook page to let us know you are attending. Any necessary boats will be provided. The same goes for chainsaws, loppers, and all other necessary equipment…we have you covered but you can bring whatever you want.
People of ALL ages and skill levels can help. We need all the support we can get…whether that is working a chainsaw, hauling away brush, stacking wood, operating the winch, taking pictures, picking up trash, or even just providing moral support.
The Maunesha River Watershed is beautiful and provides great recreation opportunities through canoeing and kayaking. Come help us give the watershed some much needed TLC!”
