Rock County Stream Monitoring Training

Do you live by a stream or river? Looking for a way to protect water near you? Once a month, from May to October, our volunteer stream monitors in Rock County collect data vital to understanding the health of our streams across the Rock River Basin. Data is used by entities involved in the management of our streams and rivers in the Rock River Basin to enhance watershed management decision-making.
¿Buscas una manera de proteger el agua cerca de ti? Una vez al mes, de mayo a octubre, nuestros voluntarios monitorean los arroyos del condado de Rock (Rock County) y recopilan datos esenciales para comprender la salud de los arroyos en la cuenca del río Rock (Rock River Basin). Estos datos son utilizados por entidades encargadas de la gestión de nuestros arroyos y ríos para mejorar la toma de decisiones sobre el manejo de las cuencas hidrográficas.
Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more is welcome to attend our Rock County workshop! By the end of this workshop, you’ll know how to measure water quality and be ready to adopt your own stream monitoring site. No experience or materials needed!
