Rock River Coalition is joining the Rock River Stormwater Group for our annual Rock River Clean-up on Saturday, September 17th! Protect Wisconsin Waterways Clean-Up is an annual event to help clean up litter and debris from the Rock River and connected waterways. From picking up basic trash like aluminum cans and wrappers to more unique items – children’s bikes, plastic toys, shoes, a TV, bike and car tires, and a parks and recreation barrier – volunteers have fun while making a huge splash in the environment and community!
Clean-up locations are spread out throughout the basin. Most events are 8am-11am, though they vary by location. You can find a meet-up of volunteers in the following locations:

Rock River Coalition will be co-hosting the Fort Atkinson Clean-up! Volunteers registering for the Fort Atkinson Clean-up are invited to meet up at Barrie Park for an after party! Enter to win a raffle items, enjoy the park with a kid’s craft table, and stay for a FREE catered lunch at noon!
