Friends of Horicon Marsh Community Science Day

When: Saturday, August 24th 2:00pm  – 6:00pm

Where: Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center (N7725 Highway 28, Horicon, WI)

Join Rock River Coalition as we take part in Friends of Horicon Marsh’s Community Science Day! We’ll be discussing macroinvertebrates and what they can tell us about water quality while other conservation experts showcase all the ways that you can build your community science skills! Watch Riveredge Nature Center bird bander, Jana, up close, join members of the Wisconsin Dragonfly Society to learn about these creatures and how to catch them, tag a monarch at the beginning of its journey to Mexico and more!  Members of the bat ambassadors and International Crane Foundation will be on site for programs and hands-on activities related to bats and cranes!
