About the Rock River Coalition
Rock River Coalition Mission
The Rock River Coalition is a 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to educate and bring together people of diverse interests to protect and improve the economic, environmental, cultural, and recreational resources of the Rock River Basin in Wisconsin.
We do this through the work of an elected board of directors, members and volunteers, in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources and the University of Wisconsin-Extension.
The Coalition’s 300 members and volunteers are private citizens, civic, conservation, historic, lake and watershed organizations, businesses, private industries, Chambers of Commerce, municipalities and local, state and federal agencies.
Our current active issue teams include: Water Quality (stream monitoring sub committee), Stormwater, Groundwater and Planning the Rock, anyone is welcome to join our issue teams, send an email to rriver@excel.net to get more information on our teams.
